The Sims 2 is 100% the only game that deserved The Sims 4’s lifespan. It was still extremely popular after The Sims 3’s release and sales never declined until EA stopped selling it. Right now it’s the best-selling game on the Mac App Store so that should tell you enough.

#1 : Idle Overhaul This mod basically overrides most idle animations and makes it so sims aren't constantly swaying, sighing or taking selfies. I've always preferred the calmer sims from TS3 so this is perfect for me. Link:

I wonder if EAs “microtransaction” route for The Sims 5 is the scrapped one they had planned for The Sims 4. The Sims 4’s “Premium Membership” gave subscribers early access to 3 packs and a bunch of exclusive content. It was scrapped right before the games release.

@sharonia_sims It’s so frustrating because TS4 has over 70M players which means it’s sold at LEAST 20 MILLION copies. That’s twice as much TS3 & 2 sold! And with the amount of DLC we’ve gotten they’ve probably generated billions in revenue. It’s so frustrating to see them ruin the franchise.
