About man cried today after watching two of my students walk over to a student sitting alone at lunch and began engaging in conversation. Small acts of kindness go so far. I understand some students may choose to sit alone, but it never hurts to ask or say hello. Be the change!

Asking my Twitter family for prayers. My grandfather who is 80 after a few days of cough / low grade fever went and was tested for COVID19. He is a prostate cancer survivor but is tough as nails. He will have to wait 4 days now to hear results and we are hopeful its just a bug.

After weeks of waiting, we finally got the genetic test results and it is GREAT news! Our Dr. is still leaning on this being Transient Hypogammaglobulinemia (THI). We will check his antibody levels again in December and see if they’ve grown. 🤞🏻

We have an ultrasound and routine doctors visit tomorrow at G-Town Methodist. Instead of feeling excitement, we fear exposing ourselves and our boy to this virus. We trust in God but this pandemic is really setting in fear/anxiety. A prayer to all expectant mothers tonight.

Wonderful news Wednesday! Isaiah's antibodies continue to slowly climb which is what we hoped and prayed for. Our Dr. noted this as good news in the hopes that it is "transient" and that he will grow out of it. We count our blessings and are thankful for everyone's prayers.

My father-in-law, David Harris, passed away this afternoon and is now with the Lord. We are so thankful for the thoughts and prayers over the last week. Isaiah will know how much his Papa loved him and the values/lessons he instilled in us. Thankful for the time we had together.

Our family has had to make some very difficult decisions in the last week in the best interest of Isaiah’s health and we could use all the prayers of protection we can get. It’s so hard to explain the daily fear to people and our predicament. (1/2)

Not the news we wanted to end our trip with. His latest blood panels showed no improvement in antibodies. Our immunologist is in communication with St. Jude to see if they’d see him. We are unsure of what the future holds but we just ask for prayers of protection and his health!

Tomorrow is our big appt. at Le Bonheur. It's been 6 months since our last antibody check and our hopes/prayers are that they've begun to develop naturally. We'd love positive thoughts/prayers for the days ahead as we wait on these important results to determine next steps.

I have said all along! Teachers want to be with their students! We worry about them constantly. However, I want to go back when safety measures are implemented and the entire school family is protected. I don’t want us to be participants in a medical / social experiment.
