13 year old me-(just finished reading crystal shard) I am going to learn to forge and make a hammer like Aegis-Fang.
30 years later 👇Ra Salvatore has seen it and approved.
A little vulgar but mostly metaphorical. I hope.🙄
But it is a fully functioning hatchet with hand shaped fire hardened maple handle. I am pretty sure it is a wall hanger in a office.

Today is the day I quit drinking exactly 2 years ago. I had trouble breathing and went to the hospital. I found out I had diabetes and liver damage. Alcohol was killing me. So I quit. But I needed something to occupy my mind so to not think about it.Thus the forge was born
I give you the anthropomorphic dagger natural causes. The handle is full of poison that coats the blade. All it takes is a scratch from the razor sharp tip. If you fail your con saving throw you die of natural causes.
Giving it away. If you want it reply with a knife GIF. Will pick a random winner later tonight. You will be responsible for shipping. Thank you, and go.

family here it is. The Damascus short sword with magical sea glass scales and nickel silver cross guard and pommel. This is a +1 sword for sure. I cut myself 3 times on the edge. And I accidentally hit the garage door rail and it cut it. No damage to the blade!
I just want to say something to all of you. Forging is not just a hobby for me. It is my weapon against a demon. A evil remorseless home wrecker. That demon is alcoholism. When I think about drinking I forge. I have replaced alcohol with blades. And if you look at how many blades
Made completely out of a tree downed in a storm. Took me a while but I cut everything by hand with a worm drive saw. Planks were cut on site with portable saw mill.
I learned bone is very porous making this. It’s a very real alligator bone found in the Everglades. I used a whole tube of epoxy on it as is poured out the sides. Made the bone much stronger. One of my earliest blades.
Since it’s Xmas this giveaway is different. Nominate someone to win the knife for Xmas. You can’t nominate yourself. I will announce the winner Christmas Eve. Spread the word. Nomination must be in this thread.
I pumped out over the last 2 years you can see I am battling a lot. So thank you for your support you are helping me win my battle with alcoholism. I thank you and my family thanks you.

I got a military buddy I haven’t seen in 22 years. We talk but would like to see him. The bond soldier’s build is strong you are literally prepared to fight and die for/with them. Brings new emotions to the table.
Can someone help me out. Been slow work wise and I need gas money. 30.00 plus 10.00 shipping usps in the US. Could be a letter opener but it’s a fully hardened functional dagger just itty bitty.
It has begun. Follow along with me as I build this awesome piece. Unedited so you can see exactly how I do it and how long it takes. Every step here’s part one.
I don’t know what will happen with Twitter but I am going to do a giveaway. This one is a little different. Stop by in the thread and say hi. Tell me something about your self and I will pick a winner on Friday. I had a rough day and had to make it. Therapy.
