We are sorry to hear that former student Paul Mariner has passed away at the age of 68 after a brief battle with brain cancer. Paul played for England 35 times and also won the FA Cup and UEFA Cup during his career. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and former classmates.

Last half term, our staff sent over 400 positive postcards to the homes of our star students. We’ve just done the same thing for this half term ..... except this time there are a staggering 2000 postcards being sent out!! 😮 Just shows how fantastic our students have been!! 😊

It’s was brilliant to see soooo many students coming back to school BEAMING after their rewards trips today! 😊 700 Yr7/8/9 students spent the day at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, while 200 Year 10 students spent their day at Alton Towers. Pretty sure they’ll sleep well tonight?! 😴
