I love that ESPN has been asking Joe Buck to do nationally televised games for years and he’s always declined, but then the Cardinals ask him to do a random game on a Monday and he says sure
Just to be clear, I don’t want Pujols back because I think he’s a better option than any of our bench bats or whatever. I want him back because he’s Albert Pujols.
@aubrey_huff
If you walk into a restaurant barefoot and the owner tells you to come back with shoes and points at the “no shirt, no shoes, no service” sign do you call the police for violating your constitutional rights?

That’s the 2nd best walk-off home run in the 11th inning of a Rangers World Series game on October 27 by someone who started his MLB career with the Cardinals
@aubrey_huff
@BauerOutage
@MLB
You had 1 AB in the 2012 World Series and grounded out so you better get rid of that second ring if you’re so against participation trophies
I liked Aaron Judge before today. That’s no longer the case. He criticized not only the Astros organization but the players as well. He also recently deleted a tweet from 2017 congratulating Altuve on MVP because he now feels that he did not earn it. Now I love Aaron Judge lol.
Nolan Gorman was called up less than 48 hours ago and has played in 1 full MLB game. He currently has half as many hits this season as Paul DeJong.
I think I can live with his defense
Crazy how the Phillies are back in the playoffs and playing St. Louis for the first time since they faced the Cardinals in the NLDS 11 years ago. Back then we had guys like Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina on the team.
Look, winning Cy Young is cool and all, but at the end of the day it’s just an award that’s going to sit on a shelf.
A play like this, now that’s a memory that lasts forever. They should have a video of this playing in Cooperstown.
Crazy how the Padres are back in the playoffs and playing St. Louis for the first time since they faced the Cardinals in the NLDS 14 years ago. Back then we had guys like Adam Wainwright and Yadier Molina on the team.
-Pujols tying Babe Ruth for 2nd most RBIs all time
-Molina and Wainwright breaking the record for starts as a battery
-Pujols hitting his 700th HR
None got even remotely close to as many views as a video of Lars Nootbaar walking on the field

All in the last 2 years, all against the Brewers

Today I filed a defamation lawsuit against The Athletic and its former MLB reporter Molly Knight in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California as there’s a drive into deep left field by Castellanos it will be a home run. And so that’ll make it a 4-0 ballgame.
So in one weekend the Cardinals had the biggest crowd in Busch III history, the 2nd biggest crowd in Busch III history, and the longest 9 inning game in Busch III history
Billy, this is Paul Skenes. He’s a 22-year-old pitcher who’s a lock to win NL Rookie of the Year and is top 3 in ERA, FIP, and K% among all MLB starters with at least 100 innings pitched. His one defect is he can’t beat the Cardinals.
I heard the news about the Yankees and decided I’d look back at some footage from the 2017 ALCS to see if I could hear anything. Check this Aaron Judge plate appearance that I found
The Cardinals sent Joe Kelly to Boston for John Lackey. Lackey then declined the Cardinals qualifying offer and signed with Chicago. The Cardinals used the comp pick to draft Dylan Carlson, who just singled to knock out Price and bring Kelly into the game.
“This is Paul Goldschmidt. He’s a perennial MVP candidate and has the best on base percentage in baseball. His one flaw is he legally cannot enter Canada.”
It’s incredible how I can say “an umpire ejected Lance Lynn from a spring training game and then told another umpire to force him to stop throwing in the bullpen” and the majority of baseball fans will correctly guess which umpire I’m referring to
The Cardinals could fill the field with MLB caliber players twice.

Padres traded for Juan Soto and are losing 8-0 to the Dodgers.
Cardinals didn’t trade for Juan Soto and beat the Yankees.
I think it’s clear who made the right decision.
