The Queen’s University team of 1990 were reunited on Saturday in Malahide, 30 years after they won the Sigerson Cup. Feargal Logan captained the side which was managed by Dessie Ryan. They defeated St Mary’s (captained by Jarlath Burns) 3-8 to 1-9 In Santry.

On this day 60 years ago, Queen's University made a significant breakthrough for Ulster football, when they overcame UCD in the Sigerson Cup Final replay by 0-10 to 0-9. The game took place in Ballybay on 15 February 1959.
