Choosing to move from California to Poland was one of the best choices I've ever made, particularly now that San Francisco has taken on a ghost town vibe.
People often ask me, "Why would you ever leave California for Poland?" I understand the curiosity; it's a valid question.
To all the western communists saying how nice it is to get all this for free - in communist Poland, the system of „kartki” - or ration cards, only gave you the right to 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 these products.
And this photo shows the 𝐦𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 you could purchase per citizen.
Just in case you all were wondering, this is a map of all known meth labs in Europe.

Poland historically welcomed Jewish people and was a haven for them when the rest of Europe engaged in large scale pogroms.
But I guess this is the product of a modern day Ivy League education 🤷🏼♂️
Something that isn’t talked about enough is that the “go back to Poland” chants are telling me to go back to a place my family was violently ethnically cleansed from. Poland is still virulently antisemitic. We weren’t welcome 100 years ago and we’re not now
