Queen Mary's High School is one of the top performing state schools in the country. We were awarded an Outstanding judgement in our 2021 Ofsted inspection.
We bid a very fond farewell to our headteacher Dr Bruton today. She has been at the helm for 13 years and made a significant impact on so many pupils’ education. We wish her well for all future ventures.

We are so proud to spread the amazing news that our Year 11 student Eliza has been selected to be part of the England Rugby U18 Development Squad.
This is a remarkable achievement given Eliza's short time playing the game, and also because she is still in the U16 age category.
We are extremely proud of all our students for the results they have achieved after a turbulent 2 years of A level studies. 44% of students achieved A/A* grades and 71% gained A*-B grades.
Well done to you all and enjoy the next part of your academic and personal journeys.
We have come to the end of a very challenging term. Well done to all our pupils, parents and staff.

What an incredible junior drama performance of 'A Monster Calls' we have experienced over the last 2 evenings. Our Key Stage 3 performers were outstanding and they couldn't have done it without the wonderful KS5 directors and fabulous teachers. Well done to everyone involved.
We were honoured, humbled and inspired by our very special guest Ivan Shaw this afternoon. He kindly shared his testimony as a survivor of the Hollacaust. Ivan was a child in the 1940s who was successfully hidden and avoided capture by the Nazis, but sadly lost both parents.
Congratulations to our U14 netball team on finishing in 1st place in the Walsall Qualifiers for the National Schools Netball Tournament. They were outstanding tonight and a new team of Year 9, 8 and 7 netballers. We are so proud! 🥲
