Do we need International Women's Day?
The global event is being marked around the world today, but nearly one in two Brits (47%) say women’s equality has gone far enough.

Anyhow who thinks I have spent the last 22 years pretending to understand the needs of British homebuyers must think me a very good actress indeed. If you don’t like the shows don’t watch them. But I’m beyond caring what the press or social media think about me, life is too short
every time chris whitty is mentioned, my head does this
tank fly boss walk jam chris whitty, you're listening to the boy from the big bad city, this is jam hot, this is jam hot
This is the exact problem with MPs like this. It's not abuse they care about, it's that people might actually hold them accountable. The fact that the screenshotted tweet is perfectly polite (though direct) makes it even more laughable.

A selection of comments: "It's a terrible idea" "cruel" "heartbreaking" "I don't get it" "really odd" "don't even start" "what a shitshow" "he's given up" "we deserve to lose"
How to avoid saying sorry - a guide for twitter:
"Sorry you were offended"
"Actually you misunderstood"
"I was joking"
"You've twisted it"
"Hahaha I'm going off to have fun with all my friends"
"You're all the bullies"

My mum suggested finding somewhere for the Christmas tree so the cat couldn't get at it, and we came back to find my dad had screwed it near the ceiling. So this huge tree was just sticking out of the wall. My mum looked horrified, and my dad laughed so much
Congratulations to
@EmmaRaducanu
who thoroughly deserves to be crowned Sports Personality of the Year 2021.
Makes me feel very old that she’s the same age as I was waaaaay back in 1998.

Could you explain, specifically, what is abusive about the screenshotted tweet? Otherwise I might suggest that the abuse - you lying about someone asking you a question - is coming directly from you.
This ace little cat blocked our walk, so she could roll around the floor and show off her belly. 11/10, for friendliness and good moves
