Finally, ETFs that have been approved today by the SEC are physical ETFs meaning that when a BTC is purchased using the financial product, an actual BTC is bought in parallel, influencing the spot market. The custody is assumed for most by Coinbase.

BTC spot ETF is pretty convenient for clients as they don’t have to worry about the custody of their Bitcoins. Its significant liquidity is ensured by traditional financial mechanisms. This peace of mind comes at the cost of low management fees charged by ETF providers.
