If you're a fan of Oppenheimer, consider checking out THE ATOMIC CAFE, a 1982 documentary which tells the story of the birth and terror of the atomic age entirely through stock footage with no narration. It's a brilliant piece of filmmaking that weirdly works as a direct sequel.

It just seems a weird choice. LABYRINTH was essentially built around Bowie, and Derrickson is a hugely erratic director, that you tend to wonder what their angle will be.

I’m about to show my wife the OG Clash of the Titans for the first time and I’m so happy. This is the movie that’s single handedly responsible for my lifelong fascination with Greco Roman myth, and as a result, my writing career. I wore out the Medusa segment on a VHS.

On a more serious note, I’m grateful to be turning 35 not f’ed up on booze. I turned 34 at one of the darkest times in my life and hit rock bottom soon after. Looking back at pics I don’t even recognize me. It’s been a hard but healing year. I’m fortunate to have a second chance

Tomorrow's the big day. Thanks to everyone who contributed to GoFundMe for my surgery. My doctor says with my age and general health he expects an easy procedure and quick recovery but I'm still very nervous, as this is the biggest thing I've had done. Vibes and prayers please.

Dunno why Topher is trending right now but as long as it is, a reminder that Topher Grace turned in one of the most quietly fantastic villain performances in recent memory as David Duke in Blackkklansman. He NAILS a particular stripe of smug racist a*shole.
