Visited my grandad today. Forced into a Siberian concentration camp by the Russians as a teenager. Liberated by his fellow Poles. Joined the war effort fighting at Monte Cassino. Unable to go home as the Iron Curtain fell & settled in Grimsby. Became a fish filleter on the docks.

Today I saw on email that a customer who complained about a salmon delivery has now complained re the batch sent to replace it. I personally picked out the 2nd batch, not my employees, so I know it was perfect. Gets you down customers scamming you when you’re an honest business.

No PLAICE I’d rather be! Grimsby 7am 04/01/22 If you get up everyday and watch the pandemic updates on breakfast TV I pity you. Saw some of it during my Xmas break. Poisonous argumentative TV asking leading questions to celebrity experts. Switch it off and get some fresh air 🥰🤩

How brilliant to get a surprise phone call from the lovely @eljonesuk this afternoon. Emma called to catch up & keep me informed about a project we joined forces on in July. It was a highlight of the year for me so far. She really is the nicest person. All Leeds aren’t we 💛🤍💙

Going to Leeds this afternoon to move all of our Daisey’s stuff from one place to another. She’s half way through her Uni course & moving accommodation today. When she’s home she joins us working in the family business. She’s a real grafter & we’ll miss her in September 💛🤍💙

@Sacha_Lord This app thing is solely down to users choice I’d suggest any employer getting a call from employees on the back of a bit of tech on their mobile needs to seriously question their staff. During the past week the only thing they’ll come down with in self isolation is sunstroke☀️🍹
