Nothing upsets me more than "big" artists stealing from lesser known artists.

You really had the audacity to post this during an actors/writers strike.
And AI Bros wonder why people don't like them or don't want to listen to their ideas.
This is exactly how you shut out people you're trying to win over.
AI just changed the game in filmmaking 📽️
Creators can now generate cinema quality short films, trailers, and teasers with 100% AI in just a few hours 🤯

Good Luck!
Anybody who knows PosterSpy and me, knows my thoughts on Ai, I think it is a danger to artists, it's unethical, and people like Tom who run creative endeavours should be ashamed.
Boasting about using Ai and saving money is NOT a good look.
Earlier this week I was asked by Tom McPhee the
Executive Director of to run a poster competition for his film festival poster. I declined, citing that artists should deserve fair payment.
You may be wondering why I'm reposting this - the last thread was broken as I deleted a tweet with my number.
I would also NEVER typically do this to any client, regardless of how they behave. But come after my business and my livelihood and the gloves come off.🥊
I also want to make it very clear that I don't care if your budget is $250, everyone is in a different situation. But to lie so callously in order to bring down a company that simply said "pay artists fairly" is unacceptable & people need to be warned about this person.
POSTER DROP🔥🤩
Last month we teamed up with
@CPXMCR
to produce a bespoke screening poster for Terminator 2 Judgment Day.
We invited PosterSpy members to submit their portfolios, 116 applications came in, and this is the final piece by illustrator Pete Lloyd!
Huge thanks to
I would NEVER have outed this dude if he just went about his day and if he chose to post Ai art... fine, I mean it sucks but whatever.
But to try and publicly defame my brand I've spent a decade working hard on to gain the trust of artists and creatives. Nah man, step too far.
Unfortunately, Tom then decided to announce that we recommended Ai to him in place of artists.
Clearly, I never said that, Tom is trying to ruin the reputation of my own brand by posting this. Also he originally included my full name.
I'm quite frankly fed up with people like this in the industry who try to bully and intimidate when they don't get their way. Luckily the community knows what I stand for. Thank you to everyone who spoke up and supported me on the FB post - the comments have since been deleted.
He then decided to post a very extensive message which clearly shows his intent with using Ai as a way to outdo artists - and very clearly doesn't care about the creative community. This is from the director of a FILM FESTIVAL.
Just want to say a big thanks to everyone who has shared positive comments and supported me during this pretty hideous interaction. 🫶 I hope it's clear I tried to remain calm and explain to this person his best options and did nothing but consider the best for our artists.
