How is this different from what the Post does? Who are the "nine current and former officials" who outed Flynn? Who do they even work for?
New: Trump may have exposed hundreds of supporters and staff in the days before he was hospitalized with covid-19, but there was no systematic effort to inform those people or to avoid further spread
The “Farewell to Arms” passage Biden just paraphrased. It’s a great sentence: “The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places.”

Sorry, I'm shorthanding. I mean Kushner's side of the story (which it pretty clearly is), as conveyed by the sources, whoever they are.
I knew his name. His family knew his name. His editors knew his name. His many readers knew his name. God knows MBS knew his name. I know what I’d like to say at this point but I won’t.
Tomorrow is the 10th anniversary of Anthony Shadid’s death. It is hard to measure how much we have lost with his loss. I miss him. Even those who did not know him do too, they just may not know it. Please remember him, his commitment to story, and his family.
I wrote this story late last year about a pandemic side effect: masks and gloves polluting the waters off California.

story on Trump’s taxes is astonishing in many ways. I learned a lot. One thing, and bear with me here, is that maybe, just maybe, our tax code is not benefitting the people it should be?
California is burning so frequently and intensely that the political question of the day is: Who is going to pay? A state known for its long-term thinking on the environment is now confronting the economic emergency of climate change. Me from Redding.

I have deleted a set of photos I posted from several morgues today in East LA. People were more concerned by names being shown (two) - though I had permission - than the content of the photos. Mass death is ugly and the names are almost all Latino. But I'll self-censor.

Wasn’t Obama administration and Netanyahu Iran policy based on the assumption/evidence the Iranian program was for military use? Why is it revelatory to prove the lies you already knew were lies? The deal was reached on this basis.
I've been sorting through some reporting I've been doing on San Francisco's Tenderloin and thought I'd share this unnerving stat: SF police have seized more than 24.5 kilos of fentanyl in the Tenderloin district alone. That's enough for 10 million fatal overdoses.

I'm confused. The sex crimes prosecutor is exploring the partisan elements of the process, as opposed to the alleged assault. Will she return to the night in question? Is she essentially stipulating to Dr. Ford's facts? And why couldn't senators ask these questions?

I don’t know, Marty. But I will say that if it is lawful to shoot someone in the back seven times - someone who is unarmed and on his family’s property - then something is wrong with our laws. The right should be outraged, but the victim is someone of color. It’s disturbing.

Banner day for the USA: the president “claiming victory” in states he has lost; first time this country has ever recorded 100,000 new daily Covid-19 infections; and, first country to officially leave the Paris accords. It’s fine, everyone, we’re rounding all kinds of corners.
Cracks have emerged in the DeSantis election police’s arrests. The state is charged with screening voter registrations. Those arrested say they got voting cards and believed they qualified. Now lives have been upended.

City prosecutors, mostly in South and Midwest, say they won't file charges against medical workers or patients. New Orleans told its police not to pursue such cases. Blue cities are fighting back against abortion bans in GOP states. Me from New Orleans.
