@meiselasb
Remember those kids in cages at the border in "las hieleras," sleeping on the floor with space blankets? Someone give Donald a space blanket.
So I'd like to hear the argument that there's no connection between Lauren Boebert's tweet saying "Today is 1776" and the Proud Boys' "1776 Returns" plan to invade federal buildings on Jan 6.
#January6thCommitteeHearings
@DanLamothe
Why close the matter if federal law was violated by using Arlington for political purposes? It doesn't matter that the employee doesn't want to press charges for the assault, which is a separate violation.
@ChristopherHahn
I had forgotten the statement about how when we stop testing, cases go down. His supporters are just stupid enough to think testing causes covid. God, those were horrific times.
@Delavegalaw
Trump's life expectancy is only about 12 years, so he doesn't even need to be sentenced to life in prison in order to be in prison for life.
@KamalaHQ
Just the fact that Vance refers to Democrats as "our enemies" sums up the Trump Party's whole game. Pete Buttigieg won't even refer to people he's running against as "opponents" but prefers "competitors." So revealing of their characters.
@PoliticusSarah
Not only is this an insane answer to the question that was asked, but shouldn't the guy with the nuclear codes know that there are 9 countries with nuclear weapons, not 5?
@NoOneUnscripted
@Teri_Kanefield
All while fighting five or six other lawsuits and potentially paying $250 million in damages to the State of New York. AG James found he's not as rich as he has claimed (surprise!), and he's about to be a lot less rich.
@mmpadellan
I'm not embarrassed bc I didn't vote for her. What I am is outraged. She gets paid $174,000/year and I feel like I have no representation. She's just all guns and "showboating."
@BenDempsey18
@jrpsaki
Those are valid concerns, but don't hold your breath waiting for Trump to solve them. He shot down immigration reform, has no plan to reduce costs, would side with Putin and other dictators, and would cut taxes and increase the debt again.
@Tim_Walz
The Harris/Walz campaign has brilliant marketing. This appeals to nostalgia about the way things used to be ("old school carburetor") and conservative values like self-sufficiency, while also conveying that the Trump Party is going to hurt the viewer on economic issues.
@laurenboebert
I really don't care if you carry your glock in Congress. I trust you not to shoot anyone. But your gun doesn't protect your family when you're in Congress. It's physics.
@GinnyMcDonald8
I love my husband and want him around for a long time. But if something happened, and I met someone else, I would want to keep separate households.
@arghavan_salles
You've got that right! And immigrants don't have to excel to the level you did in order to be worthy and welcome. He's the one who should be deported.
@OurShallowState
I agree with your post and you've left out the complicity of Republicans who had the power to stop him. Their support gave him credibility and cover.
@KyleClark
I'm in CO-3 and I coulda told you. Even 2 yrs ago when Boebert ran against Diane Mitsch Bush, she only won by about 4% as an unknown. And Boebert isn't one that ppl like better the more they know her. Many Rs told me they didn't realize what a jerk she was until she took office.
@thewayoftheid
When my son asked that, I shrugged and said, "I guess we must have," as if I had no way to know for sure but the evidence sure pointed toward that being the case. That was the end of it. 🤣
@davidmweissman
They'll say it'll cause inflation. But here's what I know. Yesterday, my 19 yo son thought college was a scam & a risky investment. Today he knows his loan payments will be capped relative to his income. Gamechanger. Gen Z might get to contribute to society after all.
@steve_vladeck
A bigger problem is that whether the documents were classified is irrelevant to the crimes he's being investigated for. He has succeeded in getting everyone arguing about declassification, so ordinary people feel like it's too complicated a story to follow.
@IntrovertProbss
That I don't want to do group things. I'd love to see them one-on-one but I do not share their "more the merrier" outlook. And that their way of being is not the unquestioned default.
@LAPB2000
You're quite full of yourself. Even if you could have, you didn't -- and she did. Education is a valid field of study and she has advanced the field. She also holds an academic job in which those with doctorates are often referred to as Dr.

@DoYouEvenLif
Your friend doesn't seem to understand the concept of a bubble. That means you only have contact with those within the bubble and no one else. If he has this party, he's popped the bubble. Don't go, and kick him out of your bubble. He's not reliable.
@JoyceWhiteVance
No, it's not a coincidence. Why is he even in Alabama in the first place? He doesn't need to worry about winning there. This is not a mystery.
@ChristopherLM20
@rycasper
I taught for 28 years. Every single February I was checking the want ads and scheming about what I could do instead of teaching. Eventually I figured out it was just February. But I dunno, it's different this year. Things are very bad for teachers.
@buitengebieden_
I once watched a bunch of bighorn sheep skiing down a snow patch on Mt. Washburn in Yellowstone. When they got to the bottom, they'd return to the top and slide down again, over and over.
@Coffee_Is_love
My son is 18 and we've still been giving him Easter baskets and doing egg hunts in the yard. Fun is ageless. My mom sent me an Easter basket at college when I was 21. I appreciated it! I'm 60 and would still like an Easter basket if someone would give me one!
@Voz_US
It's not conservative to give the president immunity when there is absolutely nothing about that in the Constitution. They're only conservative when they want to be.
@UberFacts
This is one of those studies like the ones that say sugar doesn't make kids hyper. Everyone knows the truth from experience and there's no convincing them otherwise. I am 100% certain coffee too late in the day keeps me up.
@Upschittscreek1
I'm thinking back to the episode where June is hiding in the old Boston Globe building and flashes back to the day of the insurrection and other events that led to Gilead. Way, WAY too close to our reality for comfort.
@SheilaFahey
@narceducator
@gtconway3d
@robbysoave
There is no functioning FEC right now because Trump refuses to appoint enough people for a quorum. So he can do anything he wants without repercussion. He eliminates oversight and accountability any way he can. He truly believes he is above the law.
@Hoosiers1986
@NYGovCuomo
He was a leader when Trump was not. His daily briefings during the spring were informative and helped many of us remain calm. He may have made errors, but anyone would have in that situation. He may have other areas where he sucks. But he did a good job with COVID this spring.
@clearlygifted
@drfarls
When I used to live in Washington, every time we'd cross the Stillaguamish we'd say, "It's STILL a guamish!" Hokey but once a tradition like that starts, you have to keep it going.
@NikkiHaley
He's not talking about half of Americans. He specifically said he's not talking about mainstream Republicans. He's only talking about you if you're an election denier who is more loyal to Trump than the Constitution. Is that true for you?
@Weinsteinlaw
Never heard of her. Many people are saying she's a fake. A fake sister. Everybody wishes they were my sister. I've never seen her before.
Hell yes, I'm still voting for Biden. Why:
* SCOTUS picks
* Nuclear codes
* Climate change
* Reproductive rights
* Champion of the middle class and union jobs
* Preserving alliances that have kept us safe for decades
* Respect for rule of law
* Decency
* Sanity
* Humility
@SethAbramson
We all need to buckle up for the next two months, which will bring out the absolute worst in the Trump Party and its media outlets. There is always lower they're willing to sink.
@meiselasb
I haven't seen anyone float the idea that he is sleeping and farting on purpose, as a commentary on the trial. Seems like what Donald would do, versus sitting at attention and being respectful. Any chance of that?
@BeschlossDC
No, but I remember hearing the adults talking about it and one of my parents' friends saying of the new President Ford, "Mediocre is better than corrupt." That was the day I learned what mediocre meant.
@ARealP8triot
That's exactly my thinking here in Boebertland. Part of me wants to proudly proclaim my views and the other part doesn't want to find my tires flat one morning or my cat dead on my doorstep.
@TudorDixon
This is an invented problem. Teachers are working hard to teach reading, writing and math and your ridiculous grooming accusations are interfering with that.
@SaskiaPopescu
To be honest, being vaccinated and boosted and intending to wear an N95 on my upcoming flight, I feel a little safer knowing that there won't be an incident of an enraged passenger refusing to wear a mask on my flight.
As a resident of CO-3, I would SO MUCH rather be known for being the district that elected Adam Frisch than Lauren Boebert! I think it will even help our communities economically because ppl considering moving here won't assume it's Crazytown.
@jeffstorobinsky
I'm gonna hafta say Biden. All Democratic presidents in my lifetime had to clean up a Republican mess so had a rough start, but Biden has accomplished a lot in spite of that.
@davidhogg111
Me too, but in all honesty, I'd like to see both Biden and Trump retire. Biden's doing a good job, but we desperately need a clean slate in our politics. No one connected to the Clintons, Bushes, Bidens or Trumps should run in 2024.
Flipping the Senate is as important as removing Trump. Senate approves judges and we need both houses of Congress in order to pass the bold legislation our country needs right now! No more gridlock and bills dying on McConnell's desk!
