I watched the expulsion chaos last year closely, heard the leaked audio where my opponent effectively declared “war for the republic” on his political opposition & I witnessed GQP authoritarianism with my own eyes on January 9th when the Legislature met for their first session.

Today marks 3 years since my father lost his battle with a stroke at only 49. He had a stroke in Waynesboro, where they have a hospital but just lacked the capacity, just three days prior to his death. He had to be life flighted to Maury Regional in the rain. 🧵

He couldn’t afford to frequently visit a doctors office so he avoided receiving care altogether. That decision eventually cost him his life. Like my father, there are many folks in Tennessee who don’t receive healthcare due to a lack of affordability and access.
