British Pie Shop founded in our front garden in Highbury 2011, restaurants traded for 9 years on Holloway Rd & 3 years in KX before closing due to Covid.
For the record, he forgot to pack his Arsenal shirt for the first time ever and ends up walking out in
@Bernd_Leno
’s shirt. He was asked if he’d sell it for £200, he’s at uni. and skint. He said “No, I’ll never sell it, in-fact I’m going to wear it to every match now!”

It’s the right time to put this out there, very simple poll. Please RT this if you would like to see our pies on sale on the concourse as was agreed the club 4 yrs ago. It fell through at the last hurdle. I will personally forward all feedback to CEO vinia Venkactasham.

Thank you Thank you Thank you for all the kind words from everyone, from former players, the clubs managing director to just about every Gooner that came through the front door, totally overwhelmed. It means a lot. P&N.
To answer a few queries
@theowalcott
’s name stays on the Jerk Chicken pie permanently. 108 goals and an opening winning goal in an FA Cup Final is more than worthy of PieLegend status in our books.
#classispermanent
Bumped into Mr Wong owner of The Golden Fish Bar on Gillespie Rd walking the dogs this morning. He opened his shop in 1980 and he’s never missed a home game since. If ever anyone deserved a long service medal from the club it’s this man.
If you’re coming into Holloway or Highbury to support your favourite Arsenal pub or restaurant tonight stick to the guidelines, listen to the security on the door and don’t be a dick or it’ll be shut down again before you know it!

Leaving our 17 yr old son holding fort to behave like a responsible 50 yr old while we go to Glastonbury to behave like irresponsible 17 yr olds. Nothing will go wrong. FACT!!!
And the good news from last nights dismal attendance at The Emirates is 91 left over cooked pies are going to our local Holloway homeless charity the
@pilion
trusts ‘crash pad’ shelter on The Cally Rd.

Wrighty was originally paired up with the lamb, veg & mint pie on the PieLegend menu because he’s a ‘mint geezer’ but not being a fan of lamb he chose the ‘steak ‘n’ stilton instead. The lamb & mint pie is now owned by the equally legendary Mr Frank Mclintock.

The pie shops been open 6 years this week, there’s now 20 staff on the rota most of whom from the local community, thanks to everyone who’s been through the front doors, supported us & bought pies front our front garden because “Without people you are nothing!” - Joe Strummer.
Still buzzing from Sol Campbell’s visit to Piebury yesterday. He made time for every single person that asked for a photo and did the same in the North bank. He done the double on his new jerk chicken pie eating two of them. Pure class, proud to have his name added to the menu.
1) We’ve received some pie samples from our baker, totally forgot how good they smell and taste. The new pies are more like a pub size approx. 30% larger/deeper than the shallower pies we used to sell at £5. Since we closed raw ingredients have gone up 30%, logistics overheads. >
I wonder if
@Arsenal
will follow suit and install some quality local beers into The Emirates or perhaps a local pie supplier even? Or is that asking too much?

Shirt sponsorship’s a funny old game, owned numerous JVC tellys, had an O2 account, flown with Emirates airlines, worn Adidas all my life but never ever drank Holsten Pils!
Done the deal with 5 year old Gill, first time at The Emirates first pies on the house but he has to come to the pie shop every time he comes to a home match for the rest of his life.
Still our favourite Arsenal cartoon of all time. Best bit is the shirts hanging across the road, our mate Peter was responsible for this last match at Highbury but it was from his gaff on Highbury Hill, not Avenell Rd but who cares, “It’s fucking excellent!” To coin a phrase.
Quick reminder all left over cooked pies go to local homeless people at both

at the end of every night throughout the year. It’s not difficult.
Took a volunteer and a couple of homeless kids from The

If

are going to replace the murals around the exterior of The Emirates, the Piebury vote goes to

for a larger than life Rocky7 stencil. We’ve been with him ever since he graffitied ‘AFC’ in big letters on the

The PieLegend menu is not all about superstar footballers, for those too young to remember Paddy Galligan he was the groundsman at Highbury Stadium for 28 years. A print of this photo was gifted to us by his best friend

Of course its

for the second night on the spin. “Ever fallen in love with a pie you shouldn’t have?”
To everyone that said the Holloway pie shop would only last a year it’s it’s 5th birthday TODAY so we’re giving away a coffee mug with the first 100 pies sold.
Alan Sugar’s post is exactly the reason we pay homage to Cyril Regis on our World Cup menu this tournament. Cyril and Laurie Cunningham were pioneers in the fight to kick racism out of football. Gil Scott-Herons dad Gil, Mark Walters, Viv Anderson, Brendan Batson we salute you!
Cup Final day for us starts off with a full English breakfast, then a haircut, then a final executive decision on which trainers, then a ticket check, then in recent years off to the pie shop to join the Piebury party bus to Wembley.
Fulham away has to be the finest walk to a stadium in the world. Start off drinking in Putney, then over the bridge, past All Saints Church where they filmed The Excorcist, walking along the Thames embankment through Fulham Palace and Bishop Gardens, especially at high tide.

308 Conservative MP’s voted against the Grenfell inquiry, should we really be surprised they voted against free school meals for children through the half-term? Meanwhile Baroness Mone(y) and her cronies at Medpro win an untendered contract for over £100m to supply PPE.

Massive thanks to everyone who’ve supported
#piesin
to The Emirates, we’ve had a great response from the club and will do our best to make it happen. Coining the stadium announcers catchphrase, “Piebury Corner thank you for your continued support!” Haven’t heard that for a while.
Dropped Spencer off at Falmouth University on Friday to start a 3 yr course in marine cinematography & biology, we’ve been match day partners for the last 18 years, gonna be weird coming to the AFCWimbledon on my own. I hope he becomes the next Jaques Cousteau or Blue Planet even
What a pleasure to get home from the local after watching Spuds getting gubbed by Ronaldo to a new larger 240g sample of a Tony Adams Steak ‘n ale pie from our baker. Forgot how good they were, more on this tomorrow.
We’re sad to see Aaron Ramsey go, the winning goal in the FA Cup Final against Hull is installed in our kids match day memories forever but we will be dropping him from the current PieLegend menu and honouring another retired legend for Arsenal in his place. Open to suggestions?
