One of our year 11 GCSE PE students finished 3rd in the heptathlon and helped Team Greater Manchester to first place. She has been selected for the English schools individual event in the 80m hurdles! 👌💪👏Fantastic achievement.
What a great day at the Manchester United Cliff Training ground. The year 7’s won the 7 a side tournament narrowly on goal difference from Manchester Grammar school. The lads are obviously delighted! Carrington here we come for the finals⚽️💪🤞
Tonight over 30 members of staff came to participate in the Staff Virtual 1 Mile Challenge. An amazing effort by the Philips Staff Team, whether you ran or walked you completed it and you will feel better for it 😁👌 well done.

The yr 8’s won all of their rugby matches in tonight’s tournament at Bury RC. They played against Woodhey High School, Crompton House and St Monica’s. Great to see so many pupils enjoying the rugby. England assistant under 20’s coach Paul Arnold giving good advice to the players
This is why we teach PE, the encouragement from this group is absolutely amazing. This young man did not want to do 1500m, he ran with Mr. Barlow and absolutely smashed it. Well done 😁👌💪🏅
