A woman should be able to tell a potential predator (that is, all males) to get out of the women’s bathroom. If you undermine the norms that allow her to do that or worse prevent her from doing so you increase the risk to females. It is as simple as that. It’s males.

It is, of course, totally clear in the report. Which really requires us to ask questions about the competence & motivations of the commentators that Stonewall relied on for their initial opinion.

A very perceptive comment. We know that locus of control is a very important psychological trait. Put that together with increasingly delayed entry into adult roles, household formation, stable partnership formation & parenting & you have the fertile soil for the “me project”.
