On a serious note, as a man who has batteled depeesion and anxiety I want to share that a dog can be of great benefit. I believe cats and other pets may have a similar calming effect. If you are considering getting a pet it important that you get the right animal for you.

Give this plank exercise a try and if you can’t maintain this position with the hip, high off the deck, then place your knees on the ground - this will make it easier. ➡️ Many who are overweight will default to cardio exercise and neglect strength training.
