I didn’t believe Jesus was God & I came to a real belief God was real when I read the Quran . I was working in a bookstore & just happened to pick it up, bought it and read it. Since that was the book that caused me to believe, I became the religion the book was from.

Shariah is an ideal that is defined within fiqh schools. And the West is going to have to come up with a new school. Not a lefty new age one. Shariah is an ideal that is interpreted, defined and implemented by humans. It will always be flawed in some way and fall short.

They didn’t have to go and they were not required to go to jumah, but they could go and men had the added obligation of telling them and teaching the wives. Which they generally don’t do. Masjids in the West are the community.
