Finland is guilty of genocide of Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians, Jews and other unwannted people. Even Germans were shocked how brutal & cruel the Finnish occupation was. Just how wicked must they have been if even the Nazis thought it was too cruel?

East Karelia had population of 400k ppl before Finnish occupation, only 14k after Finnish occupation. Finland operated literal death camps in Karelia.

Simo Häyhä is Nazi propaganda, there is no evidence supporting the claimed killing of 500+ Soviet troops. He is nothing but a fraud to raise fighting spirit of Finnish Nazis, the original Ghost of Kiev.

Indeed. Especially here in my home country the last elections were completely fraudelous. The only anti-NATO presidential candidates were prevented to participate, for example Väyrynen's supporter cards (which he needed to collect to be eligible to run for president) were lost.

China and Russia are the most anti-imperialist countries in the world, they fight against western imperialism and help global south to free themselves from western oppression.

Finland allied with Nazis because Finland was ruled by fascists who wanted to create Greater Finland. Easy as that. They shared common ideology, hatred towards Slavic people, and the desire to expand.

The people in East Ukraine faced violence and discrimination from Kievan Nazis and it was justified for Russia to start special military operation to protect the people in East Ukraine. If that's not anti-imperialism then what is?

Can't agree more, this is the peace plan that Russia should seek, no less. Complete demilitarization of border regions near Russia and dissolving NATO.

Finland lost no les than 60k as killed not counting those who died from wounds and had no less than 250k wounded. USSR however losts only less than 49k as killed and less than 160k as wounded.
@id_communism
Russia is anti-imperialist country. For example, Russia is protecting East Ukrainians against western imperialists and supporting the democratic people's republics that the people of East Ukraine founded after they wanted to cede from Ukraine.

Unlike Ukraine, Finland has very tiny & pathetically weak military. Ukraine was strongest country militarily in Europe and was armed with latest weapons & equipment from the west. And still they have lost 20% of land.
The year is 2024 and Finland still continues to use Nazi symbols because Finland was never denazified thoroughly. No wonder NATO accepted Finland into NATO so fast.
Norway, Sweden and Finland preparing to attack Russia to steal Russian natural resources and to create Greater Finland which Finland failed to achieve during WW2 when it allied with Nazis.

It is a total waste of resources. Finland nor Norway has any chance to make even a dent to Russian military might but they still waste billions of dollars to fund American military industry.

Finland is a massive and expensive liability to the USA. 1340km long unprotected border with Russia and practically no military capabilities at all. USA is building 15 new military bases now in Finland for Finland's protection, guess who pays them? Not Finland.

Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact was not an alliance, it was a non-aggression pact. Finland was negotiating with Nazis already in 1935 for anti-Soviet alliance and Finland even helped to rebuild Nazi navy in 1920s and 1930s. Finland started both wars 1939 and 1941.

Another question, was this a response to Finland's massacre and genocide of ethnic Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians, Jews, and other unwanted people in regions Finland occupied from Soviet Union? If so, then this was acceptable response to attrocities Finland did.

Finland was already negotiating with Nazis for anti-Soviet alliance in 1935 and anti-Soviet war propaganda was very popular in Finland in 1930s and Finland was even preparing to attack Russia and Finns also executed multiple border violations during the 1930s.

Finland spends less on its defense than NYPD spends annually and Finland has only a very tiny & pathetically weak military and it needs massive amount of American military presence for its protection.

The partisans punished Finland for allying with the Nazis. It was a perfectly justified act. In fact, Stalin was actually too kind to Finland and Finland should have been punished much harsher.
@PamphletsY
Stalin made mistake by not annexing Finland but then again not annexing Finland even though USSR won the war proves the fact that USSR never fought to annex Finland.
@joiedevivre789
And because Stalin was too nice to Finns and Finland. If I had been Stalin, I would have annexed Finland and deported Finns to a large area of Siberia to keep their overall numbers in any given area low enough so that they won't cause harm and repopulated Finland with Russians.

Finland and Sweden are pathetic countries militarily, together they can mobilize only a total of 50k soldiers. North Korea alone has million active duty soldiers and can multiply that number by mobilizing reserves.
Only good Nazi is a dead Nazi but this movie is rewriting the history. Finland was literally the Nazi country and ally of Nazi Germany. Stalin was too nice because did not annex and denazify Finland.

Finland helped to rebuild Nazi navy in 1920s and 1930s when it was forbidden for Nazis to do by the treaty of Versailles. Finland also negotiated anti-Soviet alliance with Nazis in 1935 and Finland actually was the one that started hostilities with Soviet Union in 1939.
