Whenever I hear the claim that psychology can help M.E symptoms I like to remind people I've tried Gupta therapy Mind Body reconnect therapy 3 years of counselling 2 years of psychology CBT Reverse therapy. Not a single symptom improvement. You're selling me BS.

Almost a year ago I made a suicide attempt which almost cost me my life. I did it because of having M.E. I ended up in a coma. Life is still hard and I battle depression daily but I'm glad to have survived. Surgeons saved my life. I hope there us a treatment one day and

If anyone has experienced PEM you'll know damn well its not deconditioning. It's so absurdly obvious when you experience it. For me PEM results in an awful poisoned feeling and I suffer motor tics and a host of other symptoms. I've also felt what deconditoning does. Not the same!

I'm angry I'm not allowed to say enough is enough I don't want to carry on anymore. They put me in a care home because I kept attempting suicide. I don't want to live with severe M.E and I feel it should be my choice. Sorry for being repetitive I just can't keep it all in.

After 5 months of not leaving the house Mum took me out for a drive. Put the seat down so I could be more horizontal. Had ice cream and saw the delights of Ruislip and Northwood. Feeling it now! I just had to get out.

Had my appt with Dr Taylor. She's really nice. Going to try a few medications for MCAS and then LDN to start. Then follow up on progress. Oh and I finally have my MCAS diagnosis.

Awful meeting with care gomr manager and psychologist. I still have to shower every day and need to "atop reading that stupidness online" meaning here. She thinks I just need to be positive. I hate her and want to die.

Does anyone else struggle intensely with the negative and dismissive views towards M.E? I can read just one comment and it will destroy me. 16 years and I'll be honest nothing much has changed even if research has moved on. I had to seek counselling for it in 2014.

Dr Taylor is the first Dr to take me seriously since I was diagnosed in 2008. Also a private doctor. The NHS is woeful when it comes to M.E, in fact they are the reason I'm this bad in the first place.

Update! So we are working on my care plan. Care hoke manager reads out LOUD a description of ME "can be made worse by mental and physical activity" she literally reads it out loud to me and I'm thinking plleeeaseee let it sink in. Fingers crossed hey?

This inquest is reminding me of my time I was sectioned. Forced to talk about my childhood and whether I preferred staying indoors to avoid the world. I'd already had 3 years of counselling at that point. Of course it didnt help any symptom in fact pushing me to do too much

One thing I've learned over the last 15 years of having M.E is that no amount of thinking differently or psychological treatments help. It's all pseudoscience that preys on the vulnerable. It's all the same idea wrapped up in various packaging, change your thinking, get better.

Mum is still pushing her ignorant opinions and if I wont listen to her she is still calling me childish. I am 41 and can't get through to a 69 year old woman that puahing yourself with ME is a bad idea. 16 years of willful ignorance. Won't read the NICE guidelines. Won't read!
