@ChancellorLast @CrashSchwarzen1 I thought so too. I saw people complaining about the cartoony look... And if you know anything about the older games you'd know they have very stylized characters alongside more realistic faces. It didn't try to go for ultra realism till HD.

@MikisArt94 I mean it's fair to say that it was a shallow attempt to bring in movie fans when her game model just used the normal design. If they actually make the game models express similarly to the movie then the change would make sense. But they haven't yet.

The biggest design difference between the two versions besides the spin quills was the protruding snout. US Design looks a lil more like Mickey Mouse in that regard(classic style,not clubhouse lol)compared to the flatter muzzle from the original design by Ohshima-San (fourth pic)

@Joshua_Lara101 My friendly friend, the only upgrade I need the fur texture... I can't find it, but it was supposed to be implemented in Sonic 06, but scrapped. Mario has his fuzz and realistic clothes. Ugly Sonic should've been in movie, so we get these Mario Odyssey Sonic designs in the games

The biggest design difference between the two versions besides the spin quills was the protruding snout. US Design looks a lil more like Mickey Mouse in that regard(classic style,not clubhouse lol)compared to the flatter muzzle from the original design by Ohshima-San (fourth pic)
