Now that we’re fully into the swing of football season, here’s an updated thread of what I plan to provide for those that subscribe to me.
1) Full Weekly Bengals Report Card and Cutup
2) Weekly Rookie OL Breakdowns
3) Full Draft Boards (positional and overall)
4) Shadow Team
The final drive of the game was just…weird.
If getting open is truly this difficult for everyone outside of WR2, someone needs to sit down and ask if this room needs a full turnover or if it’s a scheme issue.
Either way, that’s unacceptable.
Can we all just agree to sit Cappa and Williams this week. The group that played in the divisional round is more than fine and I’d rather give those two an extra couple weeks opposed to testing them. Not looking past the Chiefs by any means, but those 5 can handle it.
🚨IT'S GIVEAWAY TIME🚨
Retweet this and follow me to enter to win a Bengals jersey of your choice to represent and show support for the big fellas up front!
If I get to 3k followers before I draw a winner during halftime on Sunday, I will pick a SECOND winner!!! WHO DEY!
I don’t want a single tweet about needing an OL in the offseason. 3 backups and they did better than we SHOULD’VE expected.
That being said…You know how I feel about the draft.
Jonah Williams has become a lot more patient as a pass protector and learned how to be more comfortable “losing” to the outside. That means more opportunities for stuff like this!
The

improve to 4-3 after beating the Falcons in a dominant Week 7 performance.
This was the best show of pass blocking that we've seen from this group this season and it showed on the stat sheet! Plus, Adeniji gets his debut on my grading sheet this week.
Preseason Week 1 OL Takeaways:
Pass protection looks good throughout (starters and depth).
The third quarter was horrendous.
The run game is still suspect.
Matt Lee deserves to be on the 53.
Mims is going to start Week 1.
Absolutely PUMPED to finally announce that I’m joining

Wing candidates > air raid candidates
Give me the guy who’s committed to the long game and can not only see the vision, but is willing to be patient and let the system work for him.
Though I have seen this clip floating around, I'd be doing my followers a disservice to not post it on my own.
Here's Alex Cappa reminding us all that pass pro isn't passive.
Can’t wait for Burrow to come out and drop 300 yards on top of 200 rushing for an easy win Week 1. This team is going to be great. Not good. Great.
You’ll see.
Burrows pocket movement was awesome this game. Don’t let that go unnoticed. Timing, rhythm and presence. Stuff like that is how he’s survived behind shaky OLs.
Alright, I've just decided to go with the popular vote and do a jersey! Any Bengals OL of the winner's choosing and potentially a secondary surprise gift👀
Per NextGenStats, Burrow was pressured at the 3rd lowest rate of his entire career. He only averaged 5.6 YPA with no pressure. The passing chart is insane considering.
Joe Burrow and the

tear apart the Bucs to take the win streak to SIX games!
The front five posts their third best group grade of the season in an awesome bounce back performance in Week 15. It felt like everything came together this week.
Let's get to the grades!
@SharpFootball
3 playoff teams and the top non-playoff team in the NFL’s best conference. The AFCN is the hardest division to succeed in. Surviving the division and winning a Super Bowl takes elite footballing on all fronts. AFCN > everyone. Argue with a wall.
Here's another full 7 Round Mock Draft and pick breakdowns now that the Bengals' pick is locked in.
Amarius Mims - Mims is a total swing based on projected upside due to his lack of film and experience. At 6'7" and 340, he still has a solid athletic profile which gives him the
First Mock Draft Breakdown of the season! Let me know what y'all think.
R1 - Grab a RT that can compete for a spot right out of the gate, but also has upside on the interior. Physical mauler that this OL room needs.
R2 - Higher ceiling TE that is still well rounded and can be a
Defeating the Ravens, Chiefs and Niners all in the same offseason on the way to their first Super Bowl win would put me in a euphoric state for literal months. This is perfect.
And mute.
TRENDING: USC starting left tackle Elijah Paige is a GIANT & A MAMMOTH OF A HUMAN BEING.
🤯🤯🤯
Paige is expected to be a stud and a top NFL draft pick when eligible.
QUICK! Everyone evaluate his walk and let me know if he's injured or not!
Bonus points if we talk about it for the next 24 hours👀😂
In all seriousness, happy to see him out.
🚨Bengals/Bills Broadcast Rewatch Takeaways🚨
The IOL still needs to find a way to hold their ground in protection.
Run game felt weird and forced.
Jonah Williams is NOT the floor of this group and doesn’t plan to be.
Off night for Cappa.
Still waiting for OBJr. to flash.
BREAKING NEWS: The Cincinnati Bengals are acquiring Defensive Tackle Aaron Donald from the Los Angeles Rams in exchange of Jonah Williams as well as their 2023 2nd and 5th round 2023 3rd round picks
Donald will be a great addition to an already stacked defensive line.

Okay, hear me out. If Bijan falls to 28...
Trade Mixon to the Eagles for Pick 30.
Draft Bijan at 28 and RT at 30.
Trade Jonah late (Day 3?) for dev picks.
Two high level rookies with fifth year options available(?), extra cap space and dev guys.
I need to stop doing mocks...
Feels like an appropriate to remind everyone that the Bengals have been actively trying to increase the mass of the OL room.
Guys like Fautanu and Haynes aren’t even on my Bengals Draft Board…
Dawand Jones was moving EXTREMELY well at the Senior Bowl. Active feet, great extension, explosive out of his stance…
Weight is trainable (that’s what everyone was worried about with Forbes, right?) and Cincy has a strong culture with similar personalities.
Take him.
Just going to be quick today, because I'm going to do some different stuff. Great week from the guys!

It's time! My first Bengals OL Breakdown of the 2022 season. Welcome to 17+ weeks of threads full of my grades and thoughts.
To start off, the front 5 didn't look near as bad as I first thought. Definitely room for improvement, but a solid first week against a top front 7.
Who’s ready for a late night/early morning film dump?😅
Broadcast rewatch/takeaways incoming…
Takeaways:
- Healthy mix of gap and zone runs. Excited for the A22.
- The newly introduced pieces didn’t suck.
- Pass protection wasn’t too bad ( I know, I know just go watch below.)
Everyone talking about this quote, but "act like they can big boy us" stood out most to me. The Chiefs want to force this into a shootout through the air. Just like last week, let's put this away early and keep it on the ground.
No matter how atrocious that final drive was, from an officiating perspective, the Bengals did NOTHING in the second half to help themselves, offensively.
Nothing.
Orlando Brown Jr. has been much more aggressive in these last few games. I couldn't tell you if it's the modified offense, finally being fully healthy after the groin injury or just getting in his groove late in the year. What I can tell you is that it's been fun to watch.

It's the same, tired, narrative. The Chiefs can do no wrong and no one respects Cincinnati. That's fine. We don't need the support of analysts. It'll come.
