During a road check around Easter Road @EdinPolNE with Road Policing checked 51 vehicles. They reported; 4x no insurance 4x vehicle seizures 1x driving unaccompanied on provisional licence 6x no seat belts worn 4x using mobile phone Various defects to vehicles were reported.

A 15-year-old youth has been charged in relation to damaging a bus and injuring a Bus Driver in the North East of Edinburgh. The incident happened on Tuesday 2nd March on Niddrie Mains Road after an item was thrown at a moving bus.
