We have just completed the installation of 22 no. Defender Solar Powered LED Lanterns around the walkway of the main pitch in Owenmore Gaels GAA. An additional solar panel was added externally to each lantern to help improve the harvesting of the sun during the winter period.

The club is deeply saddened to have learned of the death of Bill Weir of Ropefield, Ballinacarrow. A native of Ballisodare, Bill played a key part in five senior championship winning teams for Ballisodare and Collooney between 1960 and 1965, alongside his late brother Tommy.
