Chris Tanev described his Game 4 injury: Hit by the puck, next shift stepped on the ice and felt something pop in his ankle, thought it might be something big like his Achilles - just some of the tendons behind his ankle. No surgery and will be fine in a couple weeks.

Chris Tanev told the TNT broadcast that he did not lose a tooth during Game 5 at the AAC. He had his lip driven into a tooth, so he had to have his lip pulled off his tooth and then stitched up. And then he returned to playing shortly thereafter.

Mats Zuccarello had to freeze his arm down every game of the playoffs. Took 3-4 needles for every game. Not ideal, but wanted to play. “Lose some strength on shooting and the feel of the puck. Some games worse than others. No excuses of course, but always better to be healthy.”

Ben Bishop's hockey career is over. He will remain on LTIR for the rest of this year and next season, when his contract expires, then he will officially retire from the NHL. Such a shame to end this way. When healthy, Bishop was one of the top goalies in the world.
