There was a moment once when I was In the kitchen of my 700 yr old house, baking bread, and I looked up across to Castle Leoch that was just across a pasture from me I thought, “how many women have stood in this spot baking bread?” I went and turned off the TV It was a moment

As I sail off into the sunset...my interaction with fans, may have been the rewarding aspect of doing this show I have been completely enriched by the experience. I have never changed my designs based on feedback, but that does not in any way lessen the value of the experience.

I just read the entire piece. That is kind of awesome. I knew there would be negative reactions from some, but we decided to throw the dice, hoping that it would pay off in the end. Scary to break the WOMEN ALWAYS HAVE TO WEAR NEW PRETTY THINGS rule. Kinda sexist, IMO.
