Going to check on my isopod bins at 03:30 AM to avoid thinking about my chungus life
If I didn't have isopods I would be doing c*ke rn instead
Another good reason to have isopods
Armadillo officinalis "Brick Red" juveniles, love the small ones, camera doesn't make them justice
These are one of the longest lived terrestrial isopods, about 9~ years and the only ones that are capable of emiting sounds to deflect a threat if they are sufficient in numbers!
Catches of the night:
1 billion Armadillo officinalis (estimated number, there might be more)
3 lonely Porcellionides sexfaciatus (not too sure about this ID)
Don't worry, I'll get them a bin for all of them tomorrow!
In the next 3-4 weeks I am probably getting about 7 new species if everything goes well, but on different dates and breeders.
Should I record everything, edit it together and post an isopod unboxing?

In the last weeks I got 🤓:

-Cubaris pink panda king
-Porcellio hoffmannseggi sevilla
-Proporcellio vulcanicus
Next ones to the list 📃:
-Armadillidium versicolor slovenia
-Porcellio laevis dairy cow
-Extra stock of Cubaris red edge (we dont talk about it)

I just couldn't take any more of your tweets man, way too many weird stuff that I had to unintentionally read in less than 12hours
Keep up your passion with isopods tho 👍
Per congestió ferroviària al nucli de Barcelona derivada de les incidències en túnels durant aquest matí s'estan produint demores de 20 minuts de mitjana al aproximar-se a la zona afectada.
Started uploading all of my isopod observations on iNaturalist, I encourage everyone to do the same when you find pods in your area, it's so much fun and helpful to the isopod community.
Hopefully I stumble upon something interesting and not more A. vulgare...
I have updated my isopod species list, now I have a good bunch of isopods that I can make special offer if you buy bulk!
Cristarmadillidium muricatum are also finally available for sell 🟨🎉
For more information just DM me 🫶
Caught like a trillion millipedes but only 3 fucking Isopods, they were Armadillidium vulgare, I already had vulgare from that location
Turns out one of them was dead, so now I have only 2 Armadillidium vulgare after almost 5 hours of search
Fucking great, gotta love the hobby!
Llevo desde las 13:00 buscando isópodos, ninguno a la vista, no he desayunado ni comido, estamos a 37 grados y estoy mareado, hasta que no encuentre uno no vuelvo a casa

He for sure seems stressed, but from what I know Plecos have the capability of surviving months buried on literal mud
I wouldn't be surprised if they could resist freezing without a problem
It for sure doesn't look humane, but maybe the pleco is just fine?
