A local milkman at 3am reported the alarm at St. Bedes had been activated and two males running from it. Units already patrolling the area swooped in, detained the males, recovered property and duly arrested them. It was the cops not the cat that got the cream today!

Animal Welfare Act warrant executed by South RTF alongside #RSPCA and a Vet. A number of guinea pigs, ducks and dogs were discovered, all were being kept in terrible conditions. These were surrendered by their owner and will be suitably re-homed. #LancsRTF #ruralpolicing

Yesterday #SouthRTF had a sus van in an area of protected Wildlife. 2 searches revealed an array of weapons & evidence of poaching & dead game. 2 arrests, Poaching & Possession of offensive weapons, bladed articles & Class A & Class B drugs. Vehicle/Air rifles/Knife/Bat seized.

This evening we're out at Coronation Park in Ormskirk with the Lancashire Police Cadets as part of our Operation Sceptre. The Cadets will also be picking up litter from the park as we sweep through, doing their bit to support the local community.

Today we've been out in the Ormskirk and Burscough areas running some speed enforcement - We've been focusing on areas either outside or near to schools while pupils are arriving and leaving.

PCSO Ste is out and about on Altys Lane checking on vehicles that may be causing an obstruction on the footpath or road. Please make sure you park so your not causing an obstruction either on the footpath or the road.

Well it looks like perfect weather for Rainbow Hub's virtual Rainbow Ramble. Our staff have done theirs over the last couple of days as most are working today. Local charities are struggling at this current time so please, if you can help, have a look for those near you.
