While on their way to an off duty event on September 17, Lt. Jacquelyn Pollock and Eng. Terra Hutcheson encountered a severe head-on collision on Tanner Road, near UCF.

This afternoon, Crews responded to a vehicle accident w/entrapment on Colonial and Fern Creek. 1 patient was trapped underneath the vehicle. Crews were able to safely extricate them. Patient was transported to ORMC w/non-life threatening injuries.
OFD crews responded to a reported 2-car collision at a set of fuel pumps at the Wawa on S. Narcoossee Rd & Boggy Creek Rd. 1 person seriously injured and transported to ORMC. OFD units kept the fire to the vehicles and fuel pump. OPD and OCFRD E76 also assisted.
On Monday, October 14, 2024, OCSO deputies responded to the Rio Pinar area of east Orange County for what appeared to be a suicide. That call involved OCSO Lieutenant Eloilda "Ellie" Shea.
