A team of

The thing about these
@NIRA_Ug
people is that; so long as you qualify, nothing else matters, you will be given a chance at an interview to prove your skills. Age or physical stature don’t matter.

has successfully completed conducting competency tests for Registration Officers. The exercise to interview Registration Assistants, continues with Mid-Western and Central Regions this week.
This is how

Nearly all the Northwestern (North & West Nile) districts have completed conducting oral interviews for Registration Assistants. The piecemeal remainders will accomplish today. Before moving into the next region.
@NIRA_Ug
is intensely expediting the recruitment process.
Competence test for Registration Assistants is basic but essential to check the ability of candidates to carry out registration accurately under pressure. It’s the only part of it which meets the notion that: “if you know you know, if you don’t know, you don’t know.”
#UPDATE
: The ongoing
@NIRA_Ug
interviews are being conducted at district level, with shortlists pinned at NIRA district office and shared with the RDC office too. The process begun with North Western (North and West Nile).
The first batch of 19k Registration Officers candidates are doing competency test at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds. This
@NIRA_Ug
team will have interviewed more than 6000 candidates today. Beat that!!!
You show up with your issues and they sort you out, there’s no missing out on the interview because you don’t have an LC letter-No!!! It’s fair play!

will commence Competency tests on Friday, 19.04.24, for the shortlisted Registration Assistants in (Teso and Karamoja) North East region. The short listed are being/have been reached to by email, sms and voice calls. This follows the conclusion of the same in Northwest.
Friends in North East (Teso & Karamoja) are already pummeling competency tests for Registration Assistants. Meanwhile, NIRA seems to be on top of it as engagements have been held with leaders of Kampala, Wakiso & Mukono in preparation for interviews that begin on 22.04.24.
“Brig. Stephen Kwirigira,
@NIRA_Ug
Director of Registrations and Operations, highlights that this shift aims to enhance accessibility to registration services, ensuring that everyone can acquire a valid national ID card with ease.”
There used to be a time when my TL full with inquiries about other positions, and I said the time is nigh. Well today: Cyber Security Assistant, Database Assistant, System Admin Assistant, Network Admin Assistant, Service Engineer did theirs today, and tomorrow👇🏿👇🏿👇🏿
The answer is here. Meanwhile a project has the beginning and the ending. Sometimes, some jobs of the project must operate 24/7 to meet the deadlines. Friends, if you are bleating over doing interviews on a Sunday, what happens, if you are allocated to work in the night shift?
Am invited for the competency test for Registration officer on 28th April for

Tomorrow most districts in the West will begin doing their oral interviews for Registration Assistants, shortlists and coms have already been done to the successful candidates. Meanwhile Central will begin competency test kesho. Don’t be caught off guard, prepare accordingly.
The

interview set up is such that; VIPs are allowed to do the interview first without interference. Meanwhile another was quickly created for VVIPs.
Between Wednesday-Friday last week

was in more than 6 different (outreaches) locations either dispensing registration services or carrying out sensitization. Such efforts are necessary in reducing distances covered by citizens to access their services.

Partly the reason NIRA’s recruitment exercise for Registration Assistants is in phases regionally, is to enable the Agency oversee the process smoothly, with some HQ staff deployed to support district teams, who are already good enough.

That’s Kabale market in Western Uganda, it’s one of the many built at Uganda’s cities like Mbarara, Gulu, Jinja, Lira, Soroti, Mbale, Fortportal and a few more within the capital city, more continue to be built. You might be willing to steal more pics in the nearby future
One of the challenges citizens face in getting

is accessible and long distances. So the body in return;
a) Established over 117 district registration offices
b) Decentralized 99% of all registration services
c) Establishing more self help access online
Interviews for other regions will follow next in phases. Let’s exercise the same patience, we did when we submitted and waited. It’s a test for patience and commitment.
If for some reason you got shortlisted for a vacancy that requires a bachelors degree and yet you do not have it, its wise not show up. The reason there’s verification before doing the interview is to give an opportunity to those who might have failed to upload their docs..
@NIRA_Ug
is continuously working to maintain the recruitment web portal for
