Several people have asked if OpenAlex IDs are stable (MAG's were not). Yes! The work associated with ID W1234 will keep the ID W1234. At some point we might merge duplicated works, authors, etc. At that point we will expand the schema to include synonym ID data.

OpenAlex Tip of the Day OpenAlex includes a list of "related works" for most of its papers. The algorithm is based on finding papers with the most tagged Concepts in common, similar to yesterday's tip! (For older works it is still an older algorithm from Microsoft) /end
