GRAND ISLE: The island is uninhabitable, there is 3ft of sand across the island. 100 percent of structures damaged, 40% are completely destroyed. No means of communication on Grand Isle. There is a strong odor of natural gas on the island. @wwltv #beon4

My only baby brother is now gone. God called Terry Jr home April 13th, and it will forever be the worst day of my life. Terry was loved by so many of you. And I’m so proud to know he touched your lives not only with his music but with his spirit and energy.

I love carnival season. New Orleans is already walkable. For some reason it becomes EXTRA walkable and you develop some sort of super power that make you walk from Uptown to Downtown and not think twice.

We need to see a self-defense session at @NABJ this year. Listening to stories of women journalists being attacked, stalked, etc... is frightening. More on-air reporters are being hired as MMJ's and are sent alone to situations that could be dangerous.
