Completely agree @Sustainable2050 As a result the carbon intensity of the grid dropped from over 500g/KWhr to just over 200g/KWhr in 5 years. With smart charging( lowest CO2 times) we regularly see cars charging at 20g/mile,helping to balance the grid enabling more clean energy

If you think that coal-fired electricity in the UK was replaced by gas, have a look at this graph. Gas-fired electricity is at the same level as it was in 2000. It’s indeed renewables that replaced coal.
