@danny_kempo He may have been with one of the Infantry Base Depots but he hold the rank of WO III, PSM which is a short lived interesting rank. It was invented to make up for a lack of junior officers ie Platoon Commanders, at the start of the war. Here’s a 1st Bn Welsh Guards PSM on patrol.
