Still baffling to see Semi Pro clubs wading on about their pathways and youth set ups, but only have 2 subs for a first team HOME game. 🤔 take some of the youth and give them experience of senior football!

I was completely shocked after receiving an email today from @jbushell_coach to say I have completed and been signed off for my Level 3/UEFA B license in coaching football. It’s a been a fantastic journey, learning no end which I will take with me in all my coaching. 1/2

The local football world went soft, with ‘U23 football’. You’re not in the firsts still, so you’re in the renamed reserves. too many parents/players falling for clubs selling the name ‘U23’ over ‘reserves’ …it’s the same thing 😴

@TateAlfie Alfie. The coaches you watched tonight are volunteers and/or dads. They have no passion and drive to attempt to be the next Jose’ like you. They are doing their best with adult & life commitments to give players a chance to have fun with their mates and be active in football.

One of those frustrating evenings, can have all the possession but you need to be clinical in the final third, lessons learnt and things to work on. Best of luck to @FcLgc for the next round, one of the best defensive displays you’ll see at this level. We go again next week 🤝
