Proud of our crew for working tirelessly the past two weeks to get O’Brate Stadium to peak for our team this weekend

. Hope the weather helps us this weekend.
Clay work continues. Everything squared back up to chalk line, edged, lightly tilled and now graded. Set mix with sweet spots and 1 ton roller to follow. Guys are killing it with infield mix prep work off site and install here.

I’ve sprayed roundup around Allie P a few hundred times over the years. Send a student out to spray once and they come across absolute relics in the mulch.
Heater rolling to remove frost on this very cold morning. Tarp was placed last night after practice. Bubble will eventually push out to back arc of skin. Sunlight is an issue for us inside these tarped areas
@OSUBaseball
Love our Sisis. Yearly maintenance to keep our edges at bay. 2 passes around to taper. Great tool especially around synthetic turf edges

Keeping up with edges at 2 baseball fields and a softball field has been made a little easier by getting our pgrs dialed in. Cutless has been our go to.
Guys have spent several weeks across all our fields addressing low spots with kiln dried sand which falls nicely into areas where it is needed most

I know this picture won’t make any sense but sunlight is important. Influences a lot. Prevents soil from deeply freezing. Allows things to dry after heavy rain. Allows the plant to be healthy and not slick with shallow roots. BPS has a sunlight issue. Doubt this resonates
This guy brings it everyday. Had some good students roll thru here over the last 11 years but none top
