What a difference a few months make! Final touches are being made on Middle Bass Island, where much-anticipated renovations are nearly complete at the historic Lonz Mansion. Upgrades are being made to bring the mansion into the 21st century while keeping its original 1930s charm.

Work continues at @TheArtsCastle , where a “re-pointing” project is underway thanks to a $100K cultural facilities grant we administered. For those unfamiliar, re-pointing is the process of replacing the old mortar between bricks with new mortar, improving stability.

We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Curtis "Curt" Moody, founder of @moodynolan . Moody, 73, passed on Sunday. His firm, founded in 1982, grew into the largest African American architectural firm in the nation.
