Current mood. I've managed to get up at 6:00am, or even earlier every morning for while now. Considering that I am a night owl this feels like a huge accomplishment. Even if my productivity has gone up, It doesn't come without any side effects such as sleepiness 😅

The "Gouache A Go Go Tilt" brush by @kyletwebster is probably the best brush ever created imo. At least 80% of my art is made with that one nowadays(beside a soft round rund brush for gradients and such). What's your all time favorite brush?

@AbeehaTariqArt Study tip: trace your reference with simplified shapes and lines. Then try to draw your subject freehand by looking at the tracing. It trains your eyes and you’ll understand the shapes and proportions quicker.

@iriscompietart Feels more and more like the only way to prevent this is to write and illustrate our own books. It’s def off putting though. I’ve worked on heavily illustrated stuff that won awards but nobody contacts me about it. I’m often the last one to find out.
