Yesterday marked the last and biggest day yet in production of the PPE face shields produced by our team at Norwich School, with 1,000 boxed up and ready to go.
In total, more than 8,820 shields were made and sent to around 90 locations across Norfolk and further afield.
Norwich School teachers have spent the Easter break making 1000s of pieces of PPE for key workers.

Many of the residents don't have phones or tablets & so he has started to write to them weekly to keep in touch.

Congratulations to Norwich School pupil, Jacob Brown, who competed at Vault London over the weekend, the UK's biggest pole vaulting competition. He broke his personal best four times to clear 3m 72cm, currently placing him 5th in the UK for his age and 11th overall at U17 level.

This morning saw pupils celebrate a fantastic set of GCSE results with some outstanding individual attainment.
Both Revanth Roy and Daniel Tharian are celebrating achieving 9s in all of their exams.

Izzy ran a time of 10.75 seconds, which is the joint-fastest time achieved by a girl of her age in history.

ON and former 1st XV Captain, Freddie Steward, visited us today to present the school with two England shirts from his U18 and U20 England representation. Freddie, who represented the 1st XV from 2016-2018, currently represents Leicester Tigers in the Gallagher Premiership
As pupils collect their A levels today, there have been some terrific performances and many U6 leavers now have exciting pathways ahead of them. For example, to date: 61 pupils have got 3 As or more and 18 pupils have got 3 A* or more in subjects across the curriculum

Over the past few weeks, we have making meals for people in need. The initiative, in partnership with the Henderson Trust (who deliver the meals), came from our Catering Manager, Darren, who is being helped by the school's kitchen staff and some members of our U6.
Congratulations to Norwich School pupil Ben Blowers who broke the Norfolk ASA 100 metre freestyle junior short course record at the weekend, at the East Region Winter Championships. This had been the record since 2002! Well done Ben.
