WATCH: A surveillance camera captures the moment the Greenwood Fire tore through a cabin property Monday on McDougal Lake. Amazingly, the cabin's owner tells us the building only sustained some melted siding and is still standing.

Pine County authorities are searching for a driver who they say almost hit two kids as they got off the school bus.

We've lost a bridge! This is where Correll Road crosses the Baptism River. It's off Highway 1 near Finland. The bridge broke off and washed a bit downstream before getting stuck.
BREAKING: Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Rep. Pete Stauber announced $10 million from the federal government will go towards replacing the air traffic control tower at Duluth International Airport.
ROADS TO RAILS: Not only are roads washed out this morning, but train tracks as well. You can see these tracks near Forest Road 11 falling after the ground washed out underneath it.
HAPPENING NOW: A large group protesting the overturning of Roe V. Wade is marching through downtown Duluth. Police are shutting down traffic as they march. Right now, 1st St. and 1st Ave. East are closed.
BREAKING: Emily Larson’s campaign has conceded the Duluth Mayoral race making challenger Roger Reinert the apparent winner, according to a statement made on stage by Larson’s family.
BREAKING: An early morning engulfed the Lutsen Lodge resort Tuesday. No one was injured in the incident. It's unclear to what extent the resort is damaged.

NEW THIS MORNING: A 30-acre wildfire is burning in the BWCA, about 10 miles west of the Gunflint Trail. Forest Service personnel will fly over the area Wednesday to create a fire suppression plan.
CONTINUING COVERAGE: After touring flooding in Cook and Biwabik Friday, Gov. Tim Walz said this is the second largest natural disaster St. Louis County has seen in three decades.
BREAKING: President Joe Biden is promising to block the acquisition of U.S. Steel by a Japan company, saying it “should remain a totally American company. American-owned, American operated.”
UPDATE: According the Duluth Fire Dept. no fuel or oil leaks are present, no injuries, the ship is grounded. It’s going to be a major tug operation to get the ship out of the harbor. The 1,000 foot ship did not hit the break wall but stopped about 50 feet short of the wall.

The Duluth Waterfront Collective has been pushing for a reimagined I-35, their campaign played a major role in securing federal funding, and it started as a college thesis.
