) have created a 7-part primer series to introduce cardiothoracic surgery to students. We hope that surgeons and residents will share these articles with rotating students and those interested in cardiothoracic surgery.
In a cohort of patients with synchronous multiple primary lung cancers, our study finds:
๐ซ80.9% were incorrectly staged by at least 1 modality.
๐ซWhen inaccurate, CT and PET reports only noted the most suspicious lesion in 85% and 81%, respectively.
