A huge and sad loss as Albert Roux has left us to join his brother Michel. Le Gavroche opened in 1967 and some of our finest chefs have passed through it’s kitchens under the Roux tutelage. They kickstarted British gastronomy & we salute them👏Thinking of you @michelrouxjr &Emily

Unbelievably sad to have lost #andrewfairlie one of Scotland’s greatest chefs at only 55. Awarded the 1st Roux Scholarship at 20. He laid on a fabulous dinner at his Gleneagles restaurant for my brother’s 60th, charmingly putting up with 4 exuberant Barden men! RIP lovely Andrew
