This is why I dig!
The Rosetta Stone. Housed in the British Museum in London.
It took scholars 23 years to decipher this so we all knew what parallels of Select, Prizm, and Mosaic we had.

Question for all my collector friends with kids, would they want holograms in the hobby?
I know our answer would be “yes” and saying “no” you’d be lying! Lol.
When you go dig and pick for cards, some finds just hit way different.
Kenny was one of my Favorites when I was a kid in Ohio. I never got the ATL thing and he only looks right on a card in a Cleveland jersey (don’t @ me Cubs & Pirates fans)
2000 SP Authentic Chirogrophy
PC checkbox checked:
Ken Griffey Jr./Andrew Jones dual GU auto hand numbered to 10
If it wasn’t for networking I’d never have seen this card. And that’s the biggest hobby tip I can give, network & build relationships.
I can’t believe I own this card now. Only bc of networking!
Haven’t been buying many PC Cards, but I picked up this Griffey Swing Kings at the flea market at a steal.

Some cards you just have to grab when you get the opportunity & you may never get that opportunity again:
Rickey Henderson 2017 Topps Dynasty Dynastic Decoration /5
All time worst card show dealer interaction.
Make a $5 offer for a card marked $7
The dealer begrudgingly accepts, then takes the card out of the toploader and hands me the card grunting “I’m keeping the holder”
Dealer also marks his cards “mint” when there’s clear damage!
Some people just suck! Found @ an antique store. The only 2 cards in the entire place.
I should got back with stacks of these and ask if the dealer would buy them for $20 each. Helluva deal for em on the profit margin.
Damn, this is completely unfair 🥴
If I'm

@CGCCards

Toploader binder review
Brand: Kuson
Holds: 216 3”x4” toploaders in 12 pages
Outer covering: synthetic material. Sufficient, but will show the nicks.
Cover: The cover is sufficient. Could be more rigid/thick
Zipper: works well and does not feel like a fail point.

Now I just need to upgrade the Power Palette to the Sky View!
Dad made it out from Helene unscathed. Track went from a direct hit to a glancing blow. A few miles made a big difference.
Me fine, except I have some chainsawing to do in the back yard.
I took
