My chickens journey started in January 2018 with 2000 layers chics. In May 2018 I added another 3000. When they all started laying, we would pick around 120-140 crates per day. In March 2018 I bought cheap Maize which we crushed and mixed with concentrates and fed the chickens.

People have asked me about how to build cheap foul runs. Here is an example. No need for bricks or concrete. On the floor just put gravel and ram it, put a plastic and put riversand at the top and ram again and ur good to go. Remember ventilation is key with chickens
