A rare photo from the

as ground techies (like air techies but ground) load presents into their Canberra for a special delivery for people queuing for their vaccinations!
Sorry we couldn't resist!! 😇😱
Have you seen a Sea Harrier?
This Royal Navy aircraft has the distinction of being the 'Last all-British fighter'!

Whilst we didn't get the joint landing that was anticipated (re-tasked) we nevertheless got a stunning flyby this evening!

There's a lot of chat today about 4-engined prop 'jobbies' & here are some photos of one of ours it's complete with two additional jet 'jobbies' - "Four turning & two burning!"

What do you think of this T-tailed aircraft?
A twin-engined interceptor aircraft, the Gloster Javelin served in the RAF in the late 1950s and most of the '60s!

This evening we’ll be taking to the skies to fly over the Lincolnshire Bomber Command bases to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Operation Chastise. We couldn’t be more honoured to provide this flypast to remember the events of the 16th-17th May 1943.
Lest We Forget.
One for the
#ShackletonBoys
- we’ve been asked for assistance either dating & authentication of this picture - bridge believed to be the Taymar Bridge near Saltash - photo possibly circa early 1960s!
Any thoughts?

We are almost lost for words at the terrible news that has emerged from

this afternoon and our thoughts go out to the pilot's family and everyone involved with

1 of 3: In autumn 1982 we had been advised by the MoD that the ex

runway was no longer considered suitable for a

to be flown in; this conflicts with some recent recollections from our very own Vulcan pilot John LeBrun. …

Can anyone do any better from October 2013?
We've just received the sad news that the person who provided the lockdown

#BlueSkies
& thank you for some great images that have enhanced our timeline!
Here's another of their photos!
We're hearing reports of the sad news that museum member & former

We have just learnt the sad news that Sqn Ldr Neil McDougall who flew

Early signs are that our Sea Vixen

is to receive some more

Other airframes also expected to join the list!

We wonder whether we might get any flybys from aircraft heading to, or from the
