That wasn't how the vaccines were initially sold to the public. But instead of saying the vaccines don't appear to be as effective as initially thought, folks are now attempting to gaslight the country and make it seem like we're crazy for remembering things.
@SI_Swimsuit
@_yumi_nu
Beyond trying to generate social media buzz, I'm curious what the marketing insight is behind this decision. Is the swimsuit issue still trying to attract male subscribers? If not, who is this trying to appeal to?
@MeghanMcCain
I've seen a lot of posts like this calling out pro-Putin conservatives. I have not yet seen a pro-Putin post by a conservative and I follow a lot of conservatives
@AdamSchefter
It's weird to me to see the career trajectory of certain QBs. Dalton was considered an above average starter for many years and now has a long tenure as a top backup. You would think he would get another permanent starting job but for some reason he's considered a backup only now

Even if all those things are true (and to be clear- none of them are), it's interesting that your belief is that those justify deplatforming someone. Especially given the nebulous definitions like "election denier" and "colluding with Russia"

Have you?
Adults projecting there own anxieties on to teens is not the same as teens expressing anxieties themselves.
While there are undoubtedly teenagers who parrot progressive talking points, I question how representitive they are of their overall group.

The irony is that the more CFB tries to be like the NFL, the less compelling it becomes. When you strip away the pageantry, the regional rivalries, and the tradition- you're left with an amateur football league with inferior players to the NFL.
@TheLaurenChen
It's odd to see common sense statements transition from unnecessary explanations to edgy conservative talking points all within a span of about ten years
@wil_da_beast630
One would also expect the areas that had slaves the longest to be economically and technologically superior to the areas where there slavery wasn't as prominent.
It's why Mississippi is so much more built out than California is
@espn
Those on the Left believe love of country is dependent on the adoption of their preferred set of policies. For those on the Right, the love of country is unconditional
@wil_da_beast630
One of the things I hate about modern Progressives is how they take an issue that up until 10 days ago, no one gave a second thought about and then they immediately browbeat people that don't immediately agree that this requires an urgent multi-billion dollar overhaul of society.
@HBCU__
@ClayTravis
No, I don't think so. An American flag is a standard part of most uniforms that represents the country the players are playing in. A pride flag is an implicit endorsement of particular sexual orientations and identities which have nothing to do with baseball
@Brett_McMurphy
To eliminate any and all confusion, this post could have been phrased: "Hawaii says Aloha to Aloha and Aloha to Clarence T.C. Ching Athletic Complex"

I'm going to need to know the race of both the shooter and the victims to know whether to blame this on guns, mental health, or ignore it all together.
@LisaMarieBoothe
Perhaps the most admirable and extraordinary thing about him is that he has resisted the urge to show his constituents he's doing something for the sake of doing something. Many of the lockdowns are driven by a performative need to show the situation is in control when it isn't.

Ehhh. It's probably the right call but I don't really care.
This is the kind of story that people like to get fake outraged about but secretly think is entertaining.

I think that's a little harsh because baseball is so different. If Manfred successfully solves 3 out of every 10 problems that come his way (.300)- that's pretty good!

Perhaps the orthodoxy that minorities should unite against whites doesn't work in practice because 1) whites aren't inherently bad people 2) minorities are not homogeneous and 3) it's considered impolite to point out that sometimes minorities are the aggressors, not victims

Asians get the short end of the stick when it comes to affirmative action and racial quotas. It's pretty safe to assume an Asian at Harvard actually deserves to be there
@TheGhettoGronk
I can't get over how little this is being talked about. After the interception, Mike Tirico was saying the game was sealed when the Buccaneers had a timeout to force the Lions to get a first down to end it.
The Buccaneers just kind of gave up and no one noticed

This is a literal illustration of the "magic dirt" vs "tragic dirt" belief. The belief that people in the suburbs have a higher quality of life due to their environment as opposed to those in the inner cities.
However, unlike plants, human beings shape their own environments

Bush isn't making a nuanced argument here. She's saying that she deserves security but regular people do not.
If she made the argument that she deserves her own team of social workers just like the public does, that argument would be logically consistent albeit still insane.
@_TheFeminists

The problem with feminism is that women have achieved equality with men. This is a good thing. So the movement is running out of targets to attack which causes them to either misrepresent supposed inequality or start advocating for equal outcomes.

I don't disagree with that. It's just interesting to me that all 32 teams seem to approach it that same way. Once the league collectively determines that you're a backup QB, that's your role for the remainder of your career with some very limited exceptions.

The west has gone too far with pushing women into the workforce & there are consequences developing because of that. There needs to be a balance between ensuring women have opportunities to have successful careers if they choose while also not belittling women who raise families
