Offseason tip for players: If you get approached by a random org, offering you very appealing conditions, including above average salary, gh etc, make sure you do your research - ask questions about the org's backing, google the owners name, check everything. Don't fall for scam.

People blaming G2 for bad contracts seem to forget that contracts are signed by 2 parties, both of which make a conscious choice. If a player agrees to the offered terms, the org is not to blame. Sure, sucks for Rekkles, but G2 is a business like any other.

Well, I can agree that contacts and relationships matter a lot for players, but being completely honest, if You are an outstanding player, You will get noticed anyways. Where contacts really matter, is management/staff positions - nearly impossible to get there without reference.

I think the biggest issue with LoL on the level of national leagues is that majority of orgs seek short-term/instant success, throw loads of money at once, instead of building up step-by-step with a perspective and strategy of at least 12 months ahead. 1/2
